Westfield Hall Hotel

Clean, comfortable and welcoming wish I'd found it years ago!

Been visiting Portsmouth for years and stayed in some pretty dire accommodation - including the large hotels. The Westfield Hall is a real find - all the public rooms were extremely clean and comfortable and the bedrooms airy and very well decorated and kept. Didn't have dinner but the breakfast was really good with very quick service. Only down side is that dining room is down some fairly steep stairs so anyone with serious mobility problems might have difficulty although I did note that continental breakfast could be served in rooms. The staff and management were so friendly and helpful I'm sure they'd overcome this if they were asked. It's a very good location - fairly close to the sea front with a small car park as well as on-street parking. There's also a bus stop within 10 metres of the front door.

Having stayed locally in a different hotel and having had a bad nights sleep, we were not sure if we would have more of the same in this hotel. Luckily for us we were relieved to have a good nights sleep in a superior room with a king bed. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was also quiet. Good sized bathroom with bath and shower. The evening meal was very good as was the breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying again soon.

I booked this hotel for myself and family. On arrival you couldn't help but notice how clean the reception and lounge area was. Check in was quick and the receptionist was very helpful. We were helped with our luggage to our rooms and was very pleased to see the standard of cleaning was superb throughout. The breakfast was delicious a great start to the day. We were pleased with the location of the hotel being close to the seafront. We would recommend and look forward to staying again.

After a long journey we arrived to be greeted by a very friendly and helpful hotel receptionist. Our room was clean, airy and spacious and we could see that the hotel staff had done a thorough job in preparing our room for us. We also enjoyed a evening meal in the hotel restaurant with a very helpful waitress. Breakfast was also outstanding!! The hotel is situated in a very convenient location and i would not hesitate in staying at The Westfield Hall hotel again!

Having stayed at several hotels through work both budget and 5 star i found the Westfield Hall to be an excellent place to rest after a hard days work. A very short distance to the seafront with ample parking. The room was light, airy and clean. The staff were very helpful and i can fully recommend the superb breakfast. Despite staying for business purposes i will definitely stay again with the family and can recommend to anyone.
