Royal Marines Museum in Portsmouth

Just a brisk 10 minute walk from the hotel, is the Royal Marines Museum.

The museum commemorates the Royal Marines history over hundreds of years, and it explores the development and evolution of the force up to present day.

As a grand Officer’s mess building, it is worth seeing just for the architecture alone. The museum does include displays ranging from the First and Second World War, to The Jungle and The Victorian Age. It also holds an impressive medal room, and band room.
